In the morning we headed out to Versailles. It was a bit of a rainy day so we were glad to have our souvenir umbrella. The line to get into Versailles was quite long (you can see it behind Bryce), then after waiting in line for quite some time, when we were being herded through like cattle, our camera died. It was so beautiful and amazing and yet we don’t have many pictures. It cost extra to get into the gardens and since it was rainy and muddy we decided to forgo seeing the gardens. It was a great trip out there though.
After going to Versailles we went back to our hotel to charge our camera and take a nap. We thoroughly enjoyed taking a nap and resting our tired feet.
After our much enjoyed afternoon naps, we went to Pere Lachaise Cemetery. We pretty much headed straight to Jim Morrison’s grave. I love this place. It is so beautiful with all the graves lining the cobblestone streets with trees canopying overhead.

After the cemetery we headed over to Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe. It’s hard to get a great picture in front of it since there are busy streets surrounding it (especially when your husband closes his eyes).
