Happy Birthday Avery! {March 9, 2014}

I can’t believe our baby girl is 1. I think I can speak for Bryce too when I say this has been one of the best years of our lives because of Avery. She is our world and sometimes we wonder how we ever lived without her. She is the perfect baby. She has always been even tempered, a good sleeper and smiles at everyone. My life is not any harder, only better with sweet Avery in my life. I hope I can be the mother that she deserves and I already know that Bryce will be the father that she deserves.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

Here are some things that Avery does:

• Shares her snacks with you (tries to put the snack in your mouth).
• Says “uh oh” “mooo” (for pretty much any animal she sees), “hi” and sometimes says “nana” (banana), “mama” “dada”
• Loves to look at books.
• Walks along furniture and when someone is holding her hands.
• Can get off the couch by putting her legs down first.
• Eats like a champ (she will eat anything and everything that is put in front of her…even cat food!)
• Likes to be held when I’m doing things around the house.
• Loves to empty drawers and shelves.
• Smiles at everyone.
• Waves good bye.
• Loves to point.
• Loves to clap.

We celebrated Avery’s birthday with a little party on Saturday (previous post). And Sunday was spent relaxing and enjoying our 1-year-old!.

                                                          

          

            

                 

Avery’s First Birthday Party! {March 8, 2014}

We decided to celebrate Avery’s birthday on Saturday so that we wouldn’t have to interfere with people’s sabbath. We invited family to come over and celebrate our sweet little Avery. We didn’t think we invited many people but it sure seemed like a lot in our tiny house.

After everyone had a slice I remembered that I hadn’t take a picture of the polka dots inside so this is the best I could do.

I decorated the wall with polka dots of Avery’s cute face. One picture for each month.

Avery woke up from her nap a few minutes before the guests arrived so I took a couple pictures. Right after this she pulled her bow out and it never really made it back in her hair.

       

The pinders brought the fruit then we had french toast roll ups…yummmmmm.
