Avery~5 Months {August 9, 2013}

Happy 5 Months to my sweet baby girl Avery!

Here are some things about little Aves:

• Sleeps from 8pm-6am (sometimes 5am, that’s no fun)
• Sleeps in a pack ‘n play in mom and dad’s bedroom
• Loves to scratch her nails on the couch or other fabrics
• Loves her little butterfly toy
• Likes to look at lights
• Sucks and chews on her hands
• Sucks on her clothes
• Rolls all over the place
• Loves to kick her feet, especially when she is excited
• Loves her baths.
• Loves nursery rhymes and songs
• Loves tummy time
• Looks at books when I read them to her
• Loves being outside
• Loves to watch T.V.—don’t worry, we don’t let her
• Loves to talk to people, especially when they get close enough for her to touch their face
• Likes to play with and look at her hands
• A great little tourist (a very good baby to bring to all the things we do!)  
• Coos, laughs, slobbers
• Loves mornings, that is when she is the most smiley
• Likes to squeal and make loud noises.
• Enjoys shopping..likes looking at and touching all the clothes
• Not too fond of going places in the car
• Loves playing peek a boo

 

We made a trip to the park to take some pictures. They always look better on my camera for some reason. I may not be a photographer but at least I have a cute baby to take pictures of!

         

Malans Come to Visit {Aug 1-Aug 3}

Jessica and her boys came to visit on Thursday then Shane came Friday night. We spent a lot of time just relaxing, hanging out and playing fun games at night. Bryce was at a conference in Florida so I just brought my stuff to Becky’s and stayed with her for the weekend. Bryce came in Saturday night.

On Thursday night we went to the flight museum for free! It was a fun evening.

           

We also took a visit to Alki beach. We saw the finale of a canoe race that had been going on for a couple hours so that was exciting,

 

Sunday Evening at Ballard Locks {28 July 213}

Nate and Becky called us up Sunday evening and asked if we wanted to go to Ballard locks and the fish ladder. Bryce had never been so we jumped at the opportunity.

It was a beautiful evening. We sure like having Nate and Becky here to hang out with.

      

         

Anniversary Week Part 2 (July 22-July 27 2013)

Day 5 July 26, 2013 similar to June 2012

In June 2012 we went to England and Europe. So in the morning we had croissants and hot chocolate for breakfast. Then in the evening we went to Ivars House of Clams (supposed to be like fish and chips in London). It was soooo delicious.  We also had a seat right by the window which was fantastic. Then we went on the ferris wheel which is like the London eye (even though we never went on that…I always wanted to.)

Day 6: July 27, 2013 similar to October 22, 2010

October 22, 2010 was the first time we kissed. We kissed at Bridal Veil falls (so romantic right?) So, we decided to head to Snoqualmie Falls. Maybe not quite as romantic since there were lots of tourists and we invited the Packers to go with us :) But it was beautiful! I loved it!

        

That concludes Anniversary Week! It was way fun. We highly recommend it for any couple looking for something to do for their anniversary.
