I haven’t ever done a family Christmas card but decided since we have a couple kids it would probably be a good idea to start doing them. I also love getting them so I figure the more I send the more I’ll get! I do think I got more this year than any other year. My friend was going to take them for us but when we had arranged to go get the picture it was raining. We decided to just grab the tripod, go to the nearest park and snatch a picture on self timer. This was the best we could do…next year we’ll have to do a little better. Jessica did the graphics for me.

Right behind our house there is the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and during the winter they put up lights. They were so neat! I was fighting mastitis so I had a fever and was freezing but it was still worth it to go see. We went the night before my mom had to leave so she could see them…not sure why I don’t have a picture with her, she was in fact there with us.

We had such a hard time saying goodbye to Grandma!
I had about 5 days before Grandma Pinder came. I managed okay with two kids but I did drop Avery off at my friend Chelsy Marriott’s for a day so I could catch up on much needed sleep and so that Avery could play with a friend instead of begging for my attention all the time. I had to put the two kids in the bathroom with me when I showered…now I just put Dallin in the bathroom so I can make sure his sister doesn’t beat him up. But Avery usually comes and joins him in the bathroom.

On Saturday night Bryce had a Christmas work party. I wasn’t sure we could go but I texted my Relief Society president to ask her if she knew any babysitters and she offered to just come watch the kids for us. Dallin slept the whole time and Avery went right to bed after she got here and also slept so luckily it wasn’t too much work for her. His party was at the Chihuly Garden and glass place in downtown Seattle by the Space needle. It was beautiful! Even though the actual work party was somewhat boring, it was nice to go on a date and get all dressed up.

Tamara came a few days after my mom and it was so wonderful to have help again! I somehow managed to not get any pictures with Tamara. She ended up taking Avery with her back to Utah, then we came a few days later. It was nice to have some time with just Dallin but I of course missed my little girl too. The following pictures were just the time before going to Utah for Christmas.

This has been life…still is my life…going to weigh this sweet boy. With my challenges of feeding the little boy, I have to make sure he continues to gain adequate weight so I was weighing him twice a week, then once a week, now once every two weeks. But he’s still been gaining like a champ.

Ward Christmas party, sorry for the blurriness.

Tamara took Avery to see Santa. Avery loves Santa….from afar.

Flying to Utah for Christmas! Dallin was such a good boy on the plane. And a nice lady moved so Bryce and I could sit together which made nursing the little bubs a lot easier.
