Grandpa got these shirts for the kids on his trip to Nepal and this is what happens when Bryce tries to work from home.
Hunting for treasure at a friend’s pirate birthday party.
There have been so many nice days in April! We went to Chism beach one evening and were naïve about the kids going in the water! Dallin loves water and can’t stay away! We finally put Avery’s swim suit on so she could get wet and sandy.
Bryce entertaining the kids for General Conference:
We took a Sunday evening stroll to a new park in Seattle called Frink park. It was a bit of a let down but we got good views of the water. Avery loved picking the dandelions and throwing them in the water.
I went down for a couple days to watch Jessica’s kids while she went to an event for her work. Avery and Asher were so cute playing together. They got along pretty well with just the occasional disagreement. Dallin was a little tougher always give Madeleine a little too much love. It was a quick fun trip with cousins.
The kids watching Shane fill up the hot tub, all sitting around being goofy with a cup and Avery was all tuckered out on the way home, she slept like this for about 3 hours.
Avery has been really into playing games lately, the kids watching a show—Dallin never sits and watches a show which is probably good but it sure is nice to have two still kids so I can get ready! And the kids at their favorite place: the mall play area.
The kids reading together, a common occurrence that I love and Avery refuses to take a nap so much that she falls asleep like this! Also she occasionally loves to take baths in the afternoon and put her jammies on—it seems to help her take a nap so whatever works!
Playing at the park at our complex and the kids like to stretch with me after my runs.
Dallin always joins in on second breakfast with Bryce. This window is better than a tv—the kids are always looking out the window. Dallin especially loves to run over to the window whenever someone leaves to watch them walk to their car. The kids eating lunch at the park on another great sunny day.
The kids sit on the counter pretty much every day to “help” me make dinner. And little buddies reading books together again.
We packed a lunch and spent the day at the beach with some friends. Avery and her friend Benjamin had a fun time making this mote. Avery would get the water and he would tell her where to put it. She was doing all the man power it was a pretty cute thing.
Doing two of their favorite things: reading books and playing on the porch.
Bryce took the morning to come to the 20 week Ultrasound where we found out that we’re having another girl! We had to celebrate a healthy baby girl with some top pot donuts.
A visit to the farm and a nap afterwards. Naps are few and far between these days so I have to document them!
Bryce and I went to dinner at Daniel’s Broiler because someone had given us a giftcard there. It was by far the BEST steak I had ever had. And we had a nice view of the water. Dates are always great!
These two and the things they come up. Sitting together at story time and reading their new books after a visit to the library.
A visit to the Zoo with friends. Avery’s favorite is always the monkeys.
Dallin grabbed a pillow and decided to chill. And Avery with her story she told me and the picture she drew.
Bryce had to do some work on a Saturday morning so I took the kids to the farm for their annual Sheep Sheering event. It was a beautiful day and Avery loved seeing all the animals. Dallin’s and Avery’s favorite thing was riding the school bus.
And finally a new park to visit. This kid is getting more and more daring.
dallin looks so big in that last one! such cute kids.
