Happy 4 months Avery!
Here are some things about Avery at 4 months old:
- Sleeps from 8pm-6am (sometimes 5am, that’s no fun)
- Sleeps in a pack ‘n play in mom and dad’s bedroom
- Loves polka dots
- Tries to eat everything placed in her midst
- Loves her little butterfly toy
- Likes to look at lights
- Sucks and chews on her hands
- Rolls over from her tummy to her back (okay, just did it once a couple days ago, but it’s looking promising!)
- Loves to kick her feet, especially when she is excited
- Loves nursery rhymes and songs
- Plays, coos, sucks on her hands and watches daddy get ready when she wakes up in the morning vs. crying
- Hates tummy time
- Looks at books when I read them to her
- Loves being outside
- Loves to watch T.V.—don’t worry, we don’t let her
- Loves to talk to people, especially when they get close enough for her to touch their face
- Likes to play with and look at her hands
- A great little tourist (a very good baby to bring to all the things we do!)
- Loves bath time
- Coos, laughs, slobbers
- Loves mornings, that is when she is the most smiley
- She’s perfect and we love, love, love her!

I have a hard time getting her to smile for pictures. If I get real close to her and talk to her, then she smiles, but then my ugly face is in the picture…so at least she is cute without smiling too. We needed her dad there to help us get her to smile!
In the one on the above right, we were dangling a toy and Avery reached out for it with her cute little hands.
