Some pictures from our adventurous month! (that weren’t included in the other posts :)
Eating snacks in the car. Sometimes I have to get creative in getting Avery to help clean the house. I asked if she wanted to wear her Super Cape and she was all for it! So she was “Super cleaner” and she told me I was “Runner Cleaner” so I just had to run while I cleaned which was good for me because I cleaned faster! And Dallin was jumper cleaner. Also Dallin loves vacuuming with the real vacuum so I just let him do it until he gets tired.
We love the quarter rides at the mall! Maybe a little too much…
Superbowl! We went up to the Packers for the Super bowl. I don’t watch the game AT ALL, not even the commercials. But I always like an excuse to party. We love having the Packers back! Avery and Eliza have become fast friends.
Snow Day! This is the best snow day we’ve had since we lived here! The kids played on the porch with sand toys for awhile then we used a recycled snowman that had been knocked over and rebuilt it. Avery loved knocking the head off right after I snapped the picture. We tried sledding but were unsuccessful. We could use the snow a little more!
I guess I like to take pictures of Sydney sleeping! She has officially graduated from the swaddle and is definitely a tummy sleeper. Poor girl is still in a pack n play though.
A picnic in the hall. Kid sequence. These two love playing games. And the letter puzzle! I found this letter matching puzzle in my teaching stuff and Avery is quite good at putting it together if she has the patience.
Avery just LOVES Sydney SO much. She just wants to hold her and play with her all day. It pretty much drives me crazy but it’s also pretty dang adorable. Also, Avery loves wearing her Tinkerbelle costume from Halloween. I really need to get this girl some more dress up stuff.
The weekend before Valentine’s day, we did a babysitting swap with the Packers. I went up and watched their kids Friday night and Becky came down and watched our kids Saturday night. Sydney woke up just before we got home so she was managing two babies. For our date, Brycec and I went to La La Land and out to ice cream. I loved the movie.
This heart pancake is all I have to show for actual Valentine’s day. We had heart pancakes, Avery passed out Valentine’s at her preschool and we made Valentine’s cookies and delivered them that night when Bryce got home. We had Chicken Parmesean for dinner…mmmm. And finally, little D tried to put his pants on by himself. Funny boy.
Mom and Dad came up for Bennett’s baptism and stopped by our house on Friday. They brought Eliza with them so we went to Wilburton park to play. It was muddy and wet but at least it wasn’t raining!
Playing kid sequence again! Reading books with dad. The kids always like putting their chairs up on the coach which makes no sense to me. And Avery helping me with the laundry. She almost fell in several times!
Avery in her princess costume again and Dallin and Avery helping with dinner. Avery LOVES helping me with dinner. I’m glad she loves to help me but sometimes I just want to make dinner by myself :)
And finally, reading books with dad on the Nichole’s air mattress after she left. This pleasant scene lasted about 2 minutes before the kids were running and jumping around. Naps all together never works with these two.
