Nichole comes to visit! Part 1 {February 21-26, 2017}

Nichole was in between jobs so before she started her new job she decided to come out for a visit. She had never been to Seattle. We were excited to have her come entertain us!

The day before Nichole arrived, I caught these two cuties working in the kitchen. I asked them what they were doing and they said they’re making something for Aunt Nichole.

All of the following photos have been taken from Nichole’s phone because she is far better at making sure to take pictures than I am!

Nichole arrived in the afternoon on Tuesday and that first day we just relaxed.

The next morning we got up and went to Snoqualmie Falls. This was the best time I’ve ever gone because no one was there! There was also quite a bit of water because of all the rain. This is one of my favorite places to visit.

Avery and Dallin all ready to go (which always takes forever, coats, socks, shoes etc). And the two cuties in front of the waterfall.

Also, when we got there, this man was cutting down a tree and it was pretty fascinating to watch!

Cute little D holding Nichole’s hand. Also, it was so nice having Nichole around to take pictures! I’m never in any pictures so it was nice of her to take one of me with my little people.

A couple great shots…

We came home and had naps and lunch. Then we went to the library and the mall. The kids spent forever at the lego store—they love that place! Even though they have a lot of legos (duplos) at home.

Happy Birthday to Mom! {February 13, 2017}

The Saturday before my birthday we decided to hit up the newly renovated Children’s Museum. Its the same museum that has always been in Bellevue but they moved to a new location and beefed it up a bit. The place was SO crowded but the kids had so much fun. Their favorite thing by far was the packages and the big truck. There are these stairs leading up to the big truck and I went to go see if Dallin was in there because I couldn’t find him. When I was coming down the stairs I totally rolled my ankle and fell all the way down the stairs. It was quite embarrassing, and painful! There was an audible gasp in the room as people saw me go down. Luckily, I wasn’t wearing Sydney in the ergo. This is literally the only time Bryce has carried Sydney in the ergo and probably the last but thank goodness he was! As I made it through the crowd, I found him and asked him if he saw me fall and he said “That was you?! I thought it was some kid”. Lol. And by the way, Dallin wasn’t in the truck and he was indeed lost and we found him with a museum worker…whoops!

For my birthday, we opened presents in the morning then went to Red Robin that night. Bryce also made me a delicious Ice Cream Cake. It was fantastic. Nothing beats a great burger and ice cream!

Happy 5 Months Baby Sydney {Feb 11, 2017}

Oh sweet baby Syd. We sure are lucky this little one chose to join our family. She is such an easy going baby and puts up with quite a bit with her siblings but also loves her mom to pay attention and hold her. She’ll hand out smiles all day every day, but it’s a whole other ball game to get her to laugh.

This last month she started eating solids. She has slowly been declining in her weight percentile so the dr. wants to try and beef her up. If you’ve ever seen her thighs, you might think otherwise ;) She’s not a huge fan of solids yet.

She rolls all over the place and loves scratching and grabbing everything. I think we all have wounds on our face from some time that she has scratched us.

She also had her first hair cut this month because her hair was starting to look like an old man comb over.

We love this girl sooooo much!
