Hello Paradise

We love visiting Grandma’s condo. Palm trees just make me happy.

We visited Brigham Young’s winter home. It was relatively boring but still cool. We always have fun no matter what we do anyway!

We may or may not have done this awesome puzzle. Look closely, you can see animals and objects. Best Puzzle ever.

We went on a walk behind the condos and saw lots of cotton tail rabbits. Isn’t our baby adorable?

It was perfect weather to play some tennis. Avery was a great spectator who turned into a fussy spectator. Avery’s first time playing tennis.

Lagoon Frightmares {Friday October 18}

Bryce’s family was heading to Frightmares at Lagoon on Friday. Initially we told them we wouldn’t be able to go because we had planned a trip to St. George. However our circumstances slightly changed and we decided to go ahead and go to Lagoon with the family. However,  we were going to go to St. George that night so unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to stay when it got dark. We decided to go up a little earlier than the family and we got there when it opened. It was pretty great because the lines were short and there were a couple times Bryce sat by himself on rides. I was feeling pretty sick after a few rides so I took a little break.

The train ride through the jungle of animals was awesome. There was a tiger that saw Avery, and literally stood up and roared really loud. It was soooo cool! I think the tiger wanted some of Avery’s delicious cheeks!

We are watching the tiger roaring in the above photo. Apparently Avery wasn’t too impressed.

Bryce and Tyler did the sky coaster…sooo crazy. I am much too chicken to do something like that! Here is a video of Bryce and Tyler doing it. Way cooler in person.

Nebo Loop {October 11, 2013}

Just prior to leaving on our Nebo loop adventure, my SD card got corrupted so we had to use Bryce’s phone to take the pictures plus old SD cards. I never knew that an SD card could affect the quality of your pictures. It was ridiculous though because each SD card could only hold 1 picture on my nice camera. Anyway, the pictures turned out awful.

I was bummed I didn’t get better pictures because it was absolutely amazing. The drive was about 1 hr 1/2 and the colors were so vibrant! The whole time I kept say “Wooooah!”

We met some unexpected friends on our drive. Bryce rolled down his window, then rolled it back up quickly. I think he got a little scared of them :)

After our fun Nebo Loop Drive, we came home and fed Avery some dinner, then went to dinner ourselves. We had a gift certificate to this Pizza place in Draper but when we got there the place was closed for a private party. So we went to a Mexican Restaurant instead. Then we headed over to IKEA and the outlets for some late night shopping. I love Fall Break! It was such a great day.
