Happy 5 Months baby Dallin! {April 18, 2015}

Dallin is getting to be a big boy. At 5 months Dallin:

• Loves to laugh. He’s very ticklish too.
• Loves to go on walks.
• Loves to take naps with his mom.
• Rolls both ways like a champ.
• Can almost scoot…he sure tries!
• Was sleeping through the night! Now he’s back to eating a couple times a night.
• Uses his exersaucer
• Kicks like crazy in his bouncy chair
• Loves his squeaky little giraffe and ball rattle
• Loves to look at and eat books
• Still puts up with his sister who is so protective of him and yet still manages to hurt him.

Avery wanted to be in some of the pictures. But then she was being a little rough with Dallin. In the picture where she is clapping, she had just shoved Dallin off her lap and said “roll over! Good job!” Silly girl.

Washington Spring Fair in Puyallup {April 18, 2015}

Our friends Chelsy and David invited us to go with them to the Washington State Spring fair. Avery loved seeing and petting all the animals. She was pretty scared to pet them but was still excited to. Her favorite activity was watching dogs jump into this pool. At first it was just to see how far they could jump then it was to see if they could grab this thing out of the air. It was a fun weekend activity and we might have to hit up the fall fair too.

            

          

 

Happy Easter! {April 5, 2015}

Saturday evening we dyed Easter eggs. I didn’t do a great job of taking pictures so I only have a few and you can’t even really see the eggs. Avery loved it and we definitely didn’t have enough eggs for her liking. She would’ve done it all night long. We also made some yummy sugar cookies.

Easter Sunday was also general conference which is the best. Avery and Dallin both got a couple things from the Easter bunny. It was pretty cute because Avery saw an egg in her Easter basket so she put it in her other basket for collecting eggs. Then she went and found the real eggs from the Easter bunny. She loves finding Easter Eggs and just wanted us to keep hiding them for her to find.

In the afternoon, I went and hit some other Easter eggs at the little playground we have at our complex. It was great because we had the place to ourselves and it was beautiful out. It was cute because there was an egg at the bottom of the slide so she slid down with her basket to get it. Here they come…

And of course we spent most of the day watching general conference, which was awesome.
