We found ourselves in the hospital again with little Dallin, this being the 3rd time he’s gotten intussusception. We’re pretty good at recognizing the signs though so we got him to the hospital before he even threw up. The process was a little faster too. I asked if they could skip the x rays since they were never conclusive anyway and that saved some time. Bryce was awesome and spent the night with Dallin. I found myself with a bad cold the whole month which was miserable.
The morning that Dallin got admitted to the hospital. This is before his procedure. Poor kids is miserable.
A much happier little bubs on the mend.
For my birthday, we went swimming and had brownies and ice cream. I went out with some friends to the Cheesecake factory and had the most amazing cheesecake ever. I didn’t get picture with my friends but a few from swimming. Swimming was fun but I was still battling my cold and it was a hot stuffy room so it wasn’t the most comfortable.
My mom was 30 when she had me, so she was done having kids! I’m just getting started! But I’m so grateful for where my life has taken me and the amazing blessings I’ve received in my life.
Playing in the dryer. I discovered these carts at wal-mart which were sweet for awhile until they got rid of them. Then Avery fell asleep on our walk and Dallin kept his little hand on her while she slept.
Avery played in Dallin’s crib and lined up all the animals. Avery “operated” on Dallin and he was so good to just sit there! And to say Dallin loves cereal is an understatement!
During the winter we spend a lot of time at the Kid’s cove indoor playground. While I was getting ready, Avery put a bunch of my clothes on and came to me and said “Look mom, I’m Halloween!”. Whenever Bryce comes home the kids just attack him and want him to hold them and cuddle him. They sure LOVE their daddy.
When I first got my bad cold I told Avery that I needed to rest so I asked her to play quietly, read books or take a nap. I then went to sleep. After my nap, she came in and brought me this tray of stuff to make me feel better: almonds, cocoa and coconut. She can be a pretty sweet little girl! Bryce and Avery had fun time coloring this box. And any time we go to the park, the kids’ favorite thing to do is swing. Dallin just giggles and laughs.
Bryce was taking MOD pizza on as a client so of course we had to eat there and it was SO delicious. The kids love to sit on my counter while I get ready. The problem is they ruin all my makeup. And Avery “put Dallin to bed”.
The reason we wanted our kids close together was because we thought they’d be better buddies that way. These two certainly are buddies! They’re also worst enemies but we won’t focus on that :)
Avery and Dallin love to watch out the window, especially for Bryce to come home. Avery getting her very first haircut! It was just a trim. She did great.
