Avery Danielle ~ 8 Months Old {November 2013}

In a couple weeks Avery will be 9 months old, I took her pictures just in the knick of time. I have been meaning to take pictures of her for her 8 months for a long time but I just couldn’t think of where to take them. Then one Sunday morning we were hanging out in her room and she just looked so cute in her crib that I decided since that was the big thing she got this month then her crib would be the perfect place to take them! I had a hard time choosing pictures. I not little to NOTHING about photography but it was still hard to choose pictures because she just looks so dang cute in all of them!!

• Can pull herself up into a sitting position. She likes to sit up and play all the time now.
• Takes 2-3 naps a day. 9-11, 1-3 and 5-6.
• Pushes herself up onto her hands and knees (so close to crawling!)
• She loves to pull the books off the book case, look at them and eat them.
• Loves looking at lights, especially the banner at the football games.
• Scoots all over the place.
• Loves to look off the edge of the changing table or the couch.
• Loves her baths. Baths always calm her right down at night.
• Loves floor time.
• Doesn’t like to be held much when she is awake and happy.
• She loves to look out the window at the cars.
• She has warmed up to the vacuum and now kinda likes it.
• Coos, laughs, slobbers, tries to talk.  Says “mamamamama”
• Likes to squeal and make loud noises. She squeals especially loud when she is unhappy.
• Enjoys shopping..likes looking at and touching all the clothes
• Not too fond of going places in the car
• Loves playing peek a boo
• She is starting to eat everything.
• She has 2 teeth on the bottom.

                                             

November Happynings {November 2013}

Things these days tend to revolve around a little 8-month old named Avery. She is OUR world. She keeps us entertained and when she is asleep we can’t wait for her to wake up.

Lucky little girl finally got a crib! She loved it. I think it took a little getting used to the first couple nights but now it’s great. We often find her sitting up with her legs through the rails…so maybe she is still getting used to some things. We got a killer deal on this crib. It is regularly $600 and we got it for $150 at Downeast Home store. PLAY TIME!

Avery loves to strike this pose. She is so good at responding to her name. I called her name while she was sneaking away from me and she turned and struck this pose.

       

Every day, Avery takes ALL the books out of the bookshelf. And then she proceeds to flip through and “read” all of them.

Avery is such a good little eater. She will eat anything and everything.

Go Cougars! We have been to quite a few basketball games which I much prefer to football games—indoors and shorter! But we did go to the last football game even though it was FREEZING and snowing. We had to leave after the first quarter though because it was just too wet and cold. Although Avery didn’t  complain once.
