I finally took some 7 month pictures of Avery. (now that she is almost 8 months). All she wanted to do was eat the leaves. In fact, she actually got some leaf in her mouth, choked on it then threw it up all over her outfit so our photo shoot was cut drastically short. Here are some things about Avery at 7 months: (or you may skip to pictures below!)
- Sleeps from 8pm-7am…this morning she slept until 8am!!
- Takes 2-3 naps a day. 9-11, 1-3 and 5-6.
- Pushes herself up onto her hands and knees (so close to crawling!)
- Her favorite toys are: butterfly toy, bunny rabbit rattle, and bells.
- She loves to pull the books off the book case and eat them.
- Loves looking at lights, especially the banner at the football games.
- Scoots all over the place.
- Loves to try to roll off the changing table. She is impossible to change these days.
- Loves her baths. Baths always calm her right down at night.
- Loves floor time.
- Doesn’t like to be held much when she is awake and happy.
- She loves to look out the window at the cars.
- Loves to cuddle and be held when she is tired and cranky.
- She is terrified of the vacuum. Anytime we vacuum we have to old her and she buries her head into our chest and clings onto our shirt.
- Looks at books when I read them to her. Her favorite books are “Polar Bear Polar Bear what did you hear?”, Little small books that grammy gave her and Bright Baby Colors.
- Loves being outside, doesn’t particularly love grass, still getting used to it.
- Loves to watch football with her daddy.
- She is still so great to take places.
- Coos, laughs, slobbers, tries to talk. Says “mamamamama”
- Likes to squeal and make loud noises. She squeals especially loud when she is unhappy.
- Enjoys shopping..likes looking at and touching all the clothes
- Not too fond of going places in the car
- She is very ticklish in her armpits and love handles.
- Loves playing peek a boo
- Eating solid foods now. Her favorite food is ice cream of course. She is a great little eater. Eats rice cereal, oatmeal, baby food, cheerios (she is a pro at picking them up), bananas, graham crackers and yogurt.
- Sits in a high chair.
- She has 2 teeth on the bottom.
- Learning to drink out of a cup with help.
